CEO & FOUNDER
Cultura is a choreographer and teacher based out of Miami, FL. While she was born in Miami, she was raised in sunny Los Angeles, CA where she received all of her formal training in dance, music, and theater. It is there she began to train in several styles of street and club styles: House, Hip Hop, Whacking, Voguing, Locking, Dancehall, and Salsa.
Early on she felt the need to create her own lane as a teacher and an educator which lead to her cultivation and immersion into the Reggaeton scene. Cultura mixed her street dance training with the vibe and energy of Reggaeton to create her own personal style.
In 2016 Cultura began dancing for Ariana Grande as the first gender neutral dancer to dance behind a mainstream pop artist. She danced alongside 9 other male dancers as [male]. Soon after Cultura began choreographing for major artists and award shows such as J Balvin, Wisin y Yandel, Maluma, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, Becky G, Romeo Santos, VMAs, EMAs, Latin Billboards, etc.
In 2020 Cultura began her journey to open her very own dance studio in Miami, FL. Of course due to the current status of the world she was forced to turn the studio virtual for the time being. Cambio studio aims to change the way dancers train, think, and act in this industry. Our goal is to educate dancers to train smarter, think bigger, and act more professionally.
